Message from School Nurse

Cold and Flu season is rapidly approaching and we are asking for your help in keeping your child as healthy as possible. Encourage children to eat a balanced diet, including plenty of fruits and vegetables and drink 6- 8oz. glasses of water a day.

Message from School Nurse

One of the MOST important things to do is wash your hands to prevent the spreading of germs. If your child does get sick and runs a fever, he/she may be carrying something very contagious. We are advising parents to keep children home during the course of a fever of 100 degrees or greater and until they are fever free for 24 hours. If your child has any other symptoms such as vomiting or diarreah with or without temperature it is advisable to keep your child home until symptom free for 24 hours. Missy Hays Westover School Nurse.
